Basketball

Blake's favorite game is basketball!!! He calls it "baketba". He goes on the deck and plays all day!

emma at 4 months and crazy blake!

emma is growing up so fast! we went to her 4 month apt about a month ago and she was about 11.5 lbs and in the 55% for height and weight. she is healthy and everything looks good. her hair is still dark brown and her eyes are still blue. she thinks everything is so funny especially her big brother blake! she loves to eat and play with her toys. she is a very good girl!

This is Blake in the bath. I told him to show me his teeth and smile for the camera and this is what i got! quick goofy smile then right back to playing. im pretty much obsessed with my kids!

projects

i have been working on a few projects around the house...

i got this mirror at a yard sale for $2 and painted in antique white and then distressed it.

We painted our table black...

...so it would match the rest of my house:)

i also got this little table at another yard sale for $5. it wasn't in the best shape so we sanded it and painted it blake to match our table. Now it sits in the corner of our dining room and holds my hand and dish towels.

Wahoo for the sun!

Im so excited that the cold weather is over! now we just have the april showers to get through! At our apartment complex there are a lot of dental students and one of my favorite things we do together are bbq's at the park! There is a park with a bunch of grills right in our complex so we can just walk a couple buildings down and meet up with everyone! it is so nice cause its fenced in and set behind the building so the kids can run around and play and its easy to keep an eye on them.

My friends Ali and jess. Ali is holding my emma and jess is holding her baby oliver. Jess is george's mom, Blakes good friend, and oliver is only two weeks older then emma! It is so fun to have kids the same age!

This is Mark, Tanner and Rich. We are sad because rich and his wife carley are moving to oregon soon cause rich is finished with school. the are our next door neighbors and we have become really good friends with them. Blake loves their little girl brynlie, she is only a few months younger then him and they get along so well! we will miss them soooo much!

Me and Jess! i am so happy they are first years just like us and we have so many years of fun ahead of us!
