Before we headed up to Az for Christmas we decided to do our own little Christmas here in Ky. We thought it would be fun to do our own little family thing plus i didn't want to ship the gifts we got for each other to Az then ship them back home, kind of seemed like a waste of precious luggage space.
I was so excited that it snowed before we went to Az so we were able to have a little bit of a white christmas this year. We took Blake out into the snow and this was pretty much the face he had on the whole time... wasn't sure if he liked it.
Blake had fun on our christmas morning. There is a sit 'n spin in nursery that he loves so we decided to get him one. He started to climb on it before tanner could finish putting it together. We had to stop after he opened each gift so he could sit and play with it for a few minutes.
Here is our tree Christmas morning! notice how there are no ornaments on the bottom half? anyone with a one year old wonder why?
Here is our fire place all ready for santa! there are four stockings, one for tanner, me, blake and baby girl Barratt!
i wasn't sure what to get my siblings this year for christmas so i decided to make them something. It always means more when you put time and thought into a gift, and since we wouldn't be there this year i thought they might enjoy something for their room.
Oh the Christmas tree...I figured it wasn't a good idea to have ornaments on the bottom half of the tree so ours started out like yours. Then as Aiden figured out ways to get higher and reach them, they moved up and up. Eventually when they were on the top third or forth of the tree, Aiden somehow pulled the entire tree down, shattering most of the ornaments in the process. Oh gosh. So then it had NO ornaments, just boring lights. Haha
